Mount Talmapais north of San Francisco
From this trail you reach the crown jewel of Mount Tamalpais with spectacular views of the entire
San Francisco Bay and many of the famous landmarks (including the Transamerican Pyramid)
This three quarter mile circle around the east peak of Marin County's 2,571 ft
foot mountain. Choose a day without fog. Take HWY 101 to HWY 1
Stinson Beach Exit and follow the signs to Mount
Tamalpais-East Peak. The trail is open
