Ferndale California
Ferndale is regarded as one of the best preserved Victorian towns in America. A small fairy tale town with
dairy and cattle ranches sprinkled on an emerald green carpet, bounded by redwood forests and
and the great Pacific Ocean. It also holds the distinction of being the most Westerly
town in American. And it is one our staff's most favorite place to stay when
visiting the North Coast of California. We never fail to stop
for a night or two while we explore the Lost Coast.
"One of the world's top ten great places."

First hand Information
My partner Jim and I return to this sleepy, quaint historic village whenever we head to the north coast. We always make it
our home base while we explored the dramatic "Lost Coast" beaches, the Mattole River, and hike through the
awesome redwood forests. Ferndale is the perfect place to find lodging, great food, unique
shops, local art and very friendly locals. We truly enjoy Ferndale!
