Los Gatos, a small bustling village by day, surrounded by redwood forested Mountains, and the
sprawling metropolitan city of San Jose. Where weary city dwellers come to unwind from the
madness of their hurried lives. Where in the usually balmy evenings, people come to
stroll among the quaint shops, or dine in one of many fine eateries and maybe
an Irish Coffee in one of the "upscale" pubs. There is a feeling of old
California here. Where I suspect, early settlers chose to build their
homes in the 'new world' because the region resembles their former
Mediterranean homelands. A large population of Italian's still
exists in this area, as does their insistence on fine food
and wine! It is an affluent region with a rich culture.

and offers visitors a taste of what many call
the good life, the 'California life'.
