Muir Beach
Less than a half hour drive from San Francisco down scenic Hwy I. One of the most
magnificent regions of Northern California in the Golden Gate
National Recreation Area. A splendid sandy beach
with fishing, surfing and campfires
allowed. Many coastal trails
above the beach.

Bolinas Beach

Located in the tiny hamlet of Bolinas California in Marin County. A tranquil rural setting
where kayaking, bird or seal watching are favorite pastimes. This is a beautiful,
classic "untamed" North Coast beach about 20 mi from San Francisco.

Stinson Beach

Located in the small village of Stinson Beach California. Three and a half miles of sandy beach
for swimmers and surfers. A 51-acre park adjacent to the beach is open till sunset,
and has picnic tables and a snack bar and is open during summer months. Dogs
are allowed in park area on leash only but are not allowed on the
public beach. Fires are NOT allowed on beach.

Dillon Beach

Over a mile of white sandy beach, with sand dunes, safe surf and splendid tide pools.
Dillon Beach is 1 hour 15 minutes north of San Francisco; 2 1/2 hours from
Sacramento and 4 miles from Tomales Bay down Hyw 1.
