Pebble Beach, California

Is a small private coastal unincorporated community in Monterey County, California famous
worldwide as a golf destination par excellent. Pebble Beach is technically not a
city at all, but rather a corporation owned by the Pebble Beach Company.
and run as a small town with residents paying a homeowners' fee
in lieu of City property taxes. The Pebble Beach Resort
and golf courses are a most prominent feature
of this unique "town" on the edge
of the great Pacific Ocean.

The famous 17 mile Drive leads to Pebble Beach.

Seven public & private 18-hole golf courses. Pebble Beach Golf Links, The Links at Spanish Bay,
and Spyglass Hill are owned by the Pebble Beach Company and are all public courses.
The other four courses in the town are Poppy Hills which is public, Cypress
Point Club is a private course, Monterey Peninsula Country Club's
two courses are private, also Dunes Course, Shore Course,
Peter Hay course, & Del Monte Golf Course. The
Pebble Beach Golf Links is the most
famous course in the Western
United States.
